Can you drive to a different state. Because me and the OH have to drive from Colorado to California and back to Colorado for some stuff.??
So basically i was wondering if me and the baby would be ok if i was preggo and did that??

I know it seem like a post a lot girls, sorry bout that its just i want to be sure on things you know?:blush::blush:

Just keep moving your legs to keep the circulation going I guess

We drove from Austin to New Orleans when I was 7-8 weeks pregnant. Aside from the nausea, it was fine.

I was thinking about this very same thing! Because this summer DH and i plan to road trip back to Texas (we live in Delaware!) and it's a 1000+ mile drive that will take 2-4 days (depending). And i was thinking if we go as planned and i get pregnant before then, i could be up to 6 months pregnant (if the stars decide i will get prego this or next month :))

would that be too much to handle?? How about on an airplane (although i don't think we'd have the $ for air fare).

I think it's fine, you'll just want to make sure to get out and stretch your legs occassionally.

Road Trip!!!! I love those things.

I think you should be fine, just be careful, if you're anything like me you're stopping at every gas station for a top up on all the sweet delights and soda! So just remember to eat a little more nutritionally and get plenty of water, and like the girls said. Stop and rest, and get out and walk around at least every two hours, if not sooner.

Woohoo!
Can I come?

I probably wouldn't go it you were in the 9th month. But other than that, I'd go with what the other girls said.. just make sure you are stretching those legs, and ELEVATING them! That way you dont get any horrible swollen ankles/legs!!

I'm 30 weeks and we drove to Reno/Tahoe this past weekend. It took us 6 hours to get home, and I just tried to stretch as much as possible. I also did the same drive probably 3 times in my early pregnancy, but the nausea was terrible. We have lots of family there, so its a pretty normal thing for us. My dad might be having surgery soon, and he lives there, so I'm planning on driving back up soon to be with him. I dont want to fly now, even tho its a short flight, just in case.. And because most airlines wont let you fly past a certain point. But for driving, as long as you eat, drink, and move around as much as possible, you should be fine. =) Good luck TTC!!
