We got stockings from Santa then main preserves from parents and everyone else. I really enjoyed that as we could open pressies from santa as soon as we woke, but all the others we had to wait for everyone to be up and had breakie etc but it was fun as we opened presses twice x

This is how we did it too. My sister and I would take our sacks into the living room, turn on the tv to watch the xmas cartoons and opened our prezzies from santa and eat our treats! TBH some xmas eves I'd wake incredibly early (pre 4am!) and opened all my prezzies then go back to sleep! :haha:

Santa brings everything in our house! Keeps it more exciting as whatever Carly wants she will show me , and if i were to pay for some presents she knows ill get what she wants. Whereas santa? I always say you have to wait and see ;)

we always had just 1 present from santa and he delivered everything along with that,
santa always got us our 'main' present normally the one we wanted the most lol and this is what we did last year for jesse, last year jesse was 4months and santa got him a noahs ark :) this year hes getting him a smart trike lol xx

Stocking comes from Santa, then the gifts.. big gifts, last year I kind of split it up, so half were from us, half from Santa, then the rest all came from Santa except her books.. it's tough, my mom and OH's mom spoiled her, I don't want Elyse to think her grandparents are giving her more than we are, but when I was growing up everything came from Santa, then only 1 gift from each set of grandparents.. so having to adapt a bit

I will most probably have one big from santa and one big from us and then all the little ones will be split

everything apart from a few little things will be from santa but family will give there gifts seperate

When I was growing up, I never got Santa presents, never even owned a stocking. So the big main presents will come from me and OH, and the stockings will have lots of small things, and candies in them. I dont want my child to feel left out when it comes to Santa gifts like I did when I was kid.

we had stocking and whatever we put on our 'letter to santa' from santa, then anything else from parents. i remember everyones parents explained it differently and when we talked about it to eachother as kids it was all very confusing  i know that my friends parents used to say that santa brought the gifts but they paid

Everything in our house is from santa, didn't even know people did it any differently!!
They'll get 1 little pressie from mam and dad but the rest is down to santa!!

i was brought up and told this:

stocking = santa, presents = parents

and this is how i do it with my boys.

Stockings are from Santa and all the other gifts from me and OH.

stocking and normally 2 big presents from santa, the rest from us and family :D

one predent from santa the rest are from us and delivered by santa x

We do toys from Santa anything else from us.

Everything small and most likely to be objects of "ADD" :haha: will be from Santa, including stocking. The "grand finale" item will be from OH and I :D

When I was little I had a stocking from santa with nice little things in it, be it a book, doll etc and then all our bigger pressies from mum & dad.

It will be the same from Amelia :happydance:

xXx

Most presents and stocking from santa, a small present from mummy and daddy.

The pressies at the end of their bed and in their stockings are from santa...the rest are from family and friend etc...:)

I try and spread big and little things out to be half and half between us and Santa, even though Joseph doesn't understand any of it yet. He was only 9 months last year.

If it is in the santa sack or stocking then it's from Santa, if it fits under or around the tree it's from us.
