Who else hates when people say "It will happen"

UGH!!!! This makes me so ANGRY! I hate when people think babies just fall out of the sky. The only people who say this is the ones who get pregnant by looking at a guy and the ones who never want children. This makes me sad. Also, I noticed a friend of mine commented on someone's picture from high school and said "We all need to get our kids together this summer". I am the only one of my close group of friends that doesn't have a kid. It makes me sad..... any advice on how to get through these little heartbreaks?

its my OH that say this to me every month! iv already told him that i think he is jinxing us so he has promised never to say it again lol

I know what you mean. My mom is the EXACT same way, and it drives me crazy. It really irritates me but at the same time, it reminds me that I do need to stay positive about TTC.

I guess the way I think about it is thinking "it won't happen" won't be very helpful at all. But I think it's also important to explain to your family members/friends how much of a trying experience it can be when it doesn't just happen and that they need to be supportive of that.

im the same hun!
so many people tell me it will happen when its meant to happen or they tell me to hurry up! GRRRR
all my close friends have also had babies and i feel sooo left out!
but i also try not to stress too much about it cause i know i will be a mum eventually and ill be the happiest person because of it!!

Im actually one of the people that says that to girls on here that are ttc and im also ttc but my 2nd child. I don't mind when others say that to me cause I know it will happen.

I feel the same!! its so annoying when you are talking to someone and the next thing tocome out of there mouth is.....and when will you be having kids? or .. its your turn next

its so frustrating when people done know what we are going through, they seem to think its the easiest thing in the world

Oh and "just stop thinking about it and it will happen!" aaaahhh!! I hate that one, I take my temp every morning so how am I supposed to not think about it. My mother said that to me so I said that well we have not been thinking about it for 3 years and look where that has got us? maybe it is time to start thinking about it..then she was quiet..I know people just mean well but it is really irritating. Yep I hate it too! It just makes you feel worse. I know people probably just don't know what to say in these situations but it really doesn't help.

My Husbands mum said to him the other day you look miserable are you ok?!! Errrrrrrrrrrrm NO we've lost two babies in the past 6 months and we are trying desperately to get pregant again and it's ALL we think about. What do people expect!!??! It's been really stressful on us as a couple but I know we will get through it but at the moment the only thing that we know will make it better is when we have a baby. Until then we will just have to struggle through this.

My brother got his gf pregnant accidently and she was saying the other day 'oh if I didn't have IBS I never would of had this baby' it must have stopped her pill working! It's just unbelievable how things work out isn't it.

And the try not to think about it and it will happen BULL SH*T!!! How the HELL can you not think about it??!!? What a loads of crap!

Yeah i know what you mean, My Hubby says "if it happens it, happens!".. or "it'll happen when it happens" D:.... talk about letting ya women down! it's like having Hope is NOT the case here! *hugs* totally agree hun, just try and ignore it and accept how things are for Now....

but i hate when people say, it will happen for me because i'm young (18) and my fertilitys high and all that, if its high why ent it happening? i know its a process that maybe takes time but yeah. ive just lost hope to be honest now.

I don't mind it if other girls on here say it to me as I know they are just trying to help. My best mate, who has a 2 yr old, says it and it does kinda piss me off and I feel like screaming no it won't! But again I know she just doesn't know what else to say and she really believes it will.
But, when my OH says it, now that annoys me! It feels like he is just saying it to shut me up! x
