Who had men b vaccine at boots

Hi, i put a thread on hear earlier about the injections as I'm very worried about my kids having them done tomorrow, I'm just sat hear thinking that perhaps I'm so worried cause they are having them done at boots. That probably doesn't sound right and I don't for a second think there is anything wrong with boots but I'm just wondering who gives the injections as there are no doctors or nurses there. Haven't you got to be a doc or nurse to give injections.
Plus where do they have the injection. Arms or legs

My boys didn't have the jabs done at Boots but they are specially trained pharmacists who perform the vaccination.

Jabs will be done in the upper arm.

We had ours at boots. It was the pharmasist who did it and it went in the upper arm. The pharmasist is trained to do injections, boots do lots of vaccines not just men b.

Really happy it went well for you guys. Now I know it was ok for you I can tell you that I didnt think boots were very good at all The lady who did my DD's injection hesitated after the needle had gone in when my dd flinched and then shoved it in the rest while my DD was trying to wriggle away. It was horrible and my poor girl was in agony for a few days. She couldnt (well, maybe wouldnt) even walk to the car after, i had to carry her and it wasnt close and she literally just wailed for the rest of that day and then intermittently for days, carrying her arm in an 'injured' way

Oh no, I wasn't worried at all about the second round of injections they are due to have in a few months, i am now though. They went absolutely fine last time but it will prob be a different person doing the next lot

Smurf i wouldnt worry. Im sure pp's experience is the exception rather than the norm. Ours were done at boots with no problems. Im not worrying at all about the second dose.
