Whooping Cough Vaccine Poll

I got it at 25 weeks. My son is now 4 months old and not a single problem. I had a sore arm for a couple days. For me, it wasn't worth the risk of my son getting whooping cough, especially as there have been some cases in the area. They recommended my husband get it as well if he hadn't had it recently.

I had it at about 32 weeks - all is well except I had a slightly sore arm for a couple of days. Small price to pay for the health of my bubba. The sound of a baby with whooping cough is heartbreaking. My partner and the baby's grandparents also chose to get it. x

Thanks for all of your replies ladies.

I'm not atall concerned about the pain etc...its the fact that its a fairly new thing and the side effects are not yet known that is causing me the dilemma....

I'll speak to my consultant next week and try and make a decision! x

I am still undecided (seeing midwife on friday). I'm just so concerned that the possible long term effects are not know xx
