Why are my ovulation tests not getting any darker?

I have been taking OPKs since CD4-8 and they have not gotten any darker. There is barley any line. You can definitely see it but its light. I don't know what to think about this.
What could it mean?

If your cycles are 28 days and regular...the line should start darkening around 12-15 CD. Keep testing...it just may be too early. I am a 28 day cycle...only start testing on CD 11 now as I was wasting them before and nothing was positive until CD 13 at minimum. Good luck!

Also be sure you're testing twice/day about 8 hours apart so you don't miss your surge.
