why are poeple so impatient?

sorry, i know this is a little off topic, but i'm annoyed - the doorbell just rang, so i went to answer it, but when i got there whoever it was was already at the bottom of the drive, walking away! the computer room is upstairs, and i know i'm not as fast on my feet as i used to be, but really, it didn't take me that long to get there! if it was important, surely he could have waited a little longer, and if not then why was he bothering me in the first place?!?!

LOL I would be upset that he made me get up, but be glad he was gone for I hate being bugged unexpectedly!

This happens to me sometimes, to be perfectly honest though, unless I am expecting someone I don't tend to answer the door lol! as it's only going to be someone unwanted! I think that's why these people dissapear quicker because they get used to being ignored.
I also miss the phone a lot too, I figure it's not worth running to get and risking falling when you can press redial IF it is someone you want to talk to. x

I normally have to be the one to answer the door if Mark is home. If he answers it and they are selling something, he is too nice and buys. I will open it, tell them let them right right away I am not interested and close the door! Unless it is a little kid trying to make some money. I normally buy from them. LOL I'm a sucker for kids!

i live on my own so i have a sticker on my door saying unless im expecting you this door will remain unanswered my mum got it for me. know what you mean though even the mw shouted me twice i was still getting up !!

yeah, guess i should be glad - i probably just missed out on having him try to sell me something i really don't want. i just can't bear to leave the doorbell or phone unanswered, in case it's important! my sister has a sticker on her door saying 'no uninvited callers' or something like that. i'm thinking of getting something similar for after the baby is born, as i would be livid if i was disturbed whilst feeding or napping!

What annoys me is people ring door bell ... as i go towards my livin room door they knockin
YES I HEARD THE DOORBELL IM COMING!!!
and most of the time they will hear theo shouting IM COMING

omg dont get me started on sales people ringing doorbells i had one today who rang my doorbell while i was sleeping. my mum shouted at me as she had to come down from upstairs to answer it to which i replied its either she answer it or i would have screamed in his face for ringing the doorbell when he can just knock. if they carry on ringing the dorrbell after ive had LO im gunna kill them as our doorbell is really loud and horrible and theres no way to switch it off
