Why aren't pregnancy tests easy????

I thought pregnancy tests were suppose to be easy one line negative two for positive? Well I've been having weird symptoms so thought I would do a test a clear blue one the first had a very faint line when I took it apart so I assume was an evap so I done another one with a clear blue line but it may of been out of the time frame so assume another evap. So the other evening I took a frer which was a bfn. Why do evaps happen they are so frustrating especially when there is a clear line with a colour!!!!!!
