My DS had settled into a good sleeping pattern and was a wonderful sleeper. He had a bath ar around half 8, a feed at 9/9:30, slept from around 10-8/9 and was up once for a feed at 5 and straight back down after.

Now its like we've just brought him home. 😩 he is wide eyed until around 12pm and is up 4/5 times a night and then up for day around 7am. When he does wake up he's wide awake and chatting away.
Why has he started doing this? I need sleep! 😣 I can't even nap when he naps because he only has a few 20 minute cat naps during the day.

Looks like you've hit a sleep regression! Google it... It will pass, if it's so early on it shouldn't last too long.

^^wss! The worst one is usually at four months but like growth spurts, they can happen at different times for different babies. I am dreading this as my DD is an amazing sleeper too and I've got used to my sleep so I know it's going to hit us hard if it happens!

This makes perfect sense! 😩 thank ladies

Definitely sounds like a growth spurt, but luckily they only last about a week tops! Hang in there!

The night after this we had an amazing night! I put him in his cot wide eyed at 11pm and within 10 minutes he was sound asleep. He slept through until 9am only waking up once at 5 for a quick feed.
Tonight is still pending but he fell asleep about 10 and woke up for a feed at 4. 10pm is a vast improvement 😄

my daughter is 3 and half months. she has been sleeping from 10.30 till 5 then a few weeks ago sge started going 9 till 7. now shes trying to wake up at 4-5am and cries about half hour after we put her to bed.

hopefully its a stage with her too then. x

My DD is the same...was sleeping 5-6 hours, fed then slept for another 3-4 hours - Suddenly the past few nights shes been going to sleep at 00.30 (!!!) and then wakes up every 1-2 hours... so exhausted! Seems like the 4 month sleep regression hit us early!
