It's hard to ignore them when it's your own family, but you're doing what's best for your baby. How would they like it if they were scared and crying and no one came to help them.. they wouldn't.
That's totally the right word for it as well! I don't feel like I learned that much reading it, but I felt so much better doing what I was doing after having read it!
