Mines not either. I have a bit of fat pudge cause I wasn't flat before the pregnancy. Closer to my pelvic area is more furm but I don't thnk it's supposed to get all hard and stretched out until much farther along like month 7 to 9 maybe. I'm not sure never done this before.
Mine still isnt firm its very soft and my uterus is about 1 1/2" above my belly button. I feel like it should be firm too, like I should be able to feel the baby in there more. I wonder how he fits inside there!
Mine's only firm if I've just eaten. I was pretty flat belly before too, but now it's squishy. The dr. told me it doesn't really get firm until around 28 weeks. Cupcake, your uterus is still probably 2" below your belly button. The Dr. told me at my 19 week exam that mine was 1" below, right where it's supposed to be.
Mine used to be squishy some days and rock hard the next (even when I was quite heavily pregnant). Baby changes position and stuff a lot. You're only 15 weeks so you won't notice it AS much now, but the squish is normal don't worry!!
yeah it is totally normal to have your belly go hard and soft it will get harder as you get farther along in your pregnancy don't worry mine is also soft and i am 19 weeks
At this time hun, your uterus really isn't that big - even at 20 wks it is only the size of a canteloupe melon! So depending on your frame, if you was really petite, your skin may be taught and your tummy firmer sooner, but generally this is not expected at the stage you are at. x
I say only the size of a melon, but I mean in comparison to a fully grown baby in there when ya belly will be really stretched and firm And you have yet another 4 wks to get to that melon! x
