oh wow is it a new trend? when i got my bfp at 8 dpo, i didnt even use first morning or second urine. i actually used third AND fourth urine of the day so i took the tests around 4 pm. honestly i didnt even believe i was pregnant and thats why i didnt follow the usual rules of "using first urine of the day" but in my opinion, id say any urine of the day can probably pick it up if theres hcg but they say use first morning urine simply because its supposedly more concentrated and it will show up darker on a pregnancy test. my lines were faint when i had them. you can use any urine of the day but the longer you hold it in, the darker the lines will be for the amount of hcg you have in your system.
