Will I get baby blues with baby #2?

I just had my second baby about 23 hours ago and I am terrified of getting the baby blues again.

I had it with my first for 3 weeks. It was worst 3 weeks ever. I am so scared of getting the baby blues again.

Anyone know the likeliness of getting it again since I got it the first time?

Congratulations on ur new lo.... I have asked my gp this lots...well done for only having it for 3 weeks I have postnatal depression and I think it's getting better now... My gp says that yes you may get it but you will be able to self diagnose a lot quicker and be able to do something about it sooner good luck babe be brave x x

I am 48+ hours post partum and I still feel overwhelmingly happy and cannot believe how amazing my life has become. I hope it continues this way. Baby blues hit me in about 24 hours with my son. I got prescription meds and they are sitting in my counter just in case I need them. I am paying attention very close to my thoughts and feelings.
