Hi,
After LO being diagnosed with reflux and an intolerance we have decided with the help of my HV to switch her over to a special formula. Im disappointed as love BF and felt really proud to be doing it but after seeing how much better she is on this formula I know it has to be done.
My supply is already a bit lower (I get 3oz per boob when I express rather than the 6oz I was getting a week or so ago) but I dont want it to dry up completely as usually once a day I put LO to the breast either as a bit of a top up if she still seems hungry or as a way to settle her off to sleep as a comfort. Id like to be able to keep a small supply will my body just adapt or will milk dry up completely with her only coming on to suckle or for small feeds so infrequently?
