Will my period be any lighter with down reg?

Hi ladies, have been on birth control pill since I started last period and have been down regulating with suprecur for the last 5 days have started my period this morning and normally I suffer pretty badly with heavy ones and have to take transexamic acid. Just wondered if my period will be lighter than normal? and if not can I take my transexamic acid ?
