Will you be trying for a particular gender?

We really wanted a boy first time round, so we purposely tried for one and got one. This time I'm open to either sex (though of course I would have been happy if we had a girl last time) but I'm just thinking about family dynamics and whether to try again for a particular gender... my son keeps asking for a sister, and I've read that boy/girl combos are calmer than boy/boy, but I suppose because I have two brothers I just pictured us having sons and never really considered a daughter though I am now. Is anyone playing on trying for a particular gender and why?

Just to clarify, we will be grateful whatever we get!

I have 4 boys, I am happy to have a 5th, but have read a few things about 'swaying' so figured I might as well have a little experiment. I'm not sure if I'm going to go ahead though. I'm a 'whats meant to be will be' 'everything for a reason' person, and I also have terrible will power to stick to anything. I'm still only technically NTNP and its my first cycle since DS4.

We aren't actively trying for any particular gender.. Just a healthy baby. No gender swaying methods are being used. But obviously, everyone has hopes of whether they want a boy or a girl... I would really, really love to have a little boy. And I know my husband would really love it too
