Sad that Christmas is over :( But looking back now, will you try to do anything different next year?

I think I was more organized this year than in prior years, but I still wonder if I can tweak that somehow. LOL

Yep no-one is coming to my house!! It was very stressful and spent most of the day running around after everyone and tidying up, i have done it for everyone for the last three years, we shall be either having a quiet xmas, xmas away or someone else can invite us to there house!! lol!

Everything else seemed fine TBH x

I am getting my shopping 100% finished before December 1st.

I am organizing a Secret Santa with my friends.

I am shopping for my daughter next Christmas, God willing, and not just my boyfriend & parents.

I am baking a big fat gift basket of goodies for my boyfriend's family!!

Probably tie the xmas tree to something so it doesnt get pulled down, we will have a 6 month old by then

Good suggestion!! Between my cat and the 9 month old that will be in the house... I better at least plan to decorate in plastic only! :dohh:

Not buy so much :dohh: remember my thread about do I have enough, yep I had enough

yeah... im going somewhere else for xmas... either my mums, or might try go new york.. not staying at home again. gt bored... well enless a mini person arrives..

I'm going to remember to get the chicken out of the oven on time..or put the fireman squad on speed dial :dohh:

Quite the simple story actually.I put the nicely stuffed chicken I'd spent all morning preparing in the oven, forgetting to put the timer on it because I had to change Lola. After that I set the table, made all the other food and paraded off to the living room with everyone else to open presents and knock back a glass of champagne.

The fire alarm in the kitchen is really a drama queen, there was only a little amount of smoke! But the chicken could not be saved,it was coal black!!
And I don't think I deserved to be laughed at so hard,it happens

Ah well, the lasagne we had were good,I think about making this as an official Christmas meal from now on!

Im staying home and sleeping in my own bed. We went to my OHs for 3 days (was meant to be there for a week) all they did is argue and had to sleep on the most uncomfortable bed on the floor. Not a great xmas at all. Staying at home next year. The in laws will just have to lump it.

Wont be moving house the weekend before christmas again! lol
