DH's sister is pg right now and due in June! I would love love love if we got pg as soon as we start trying to have cousins close in age! :D We also live close, so we could definitely be in-store for some fun times! :cloud9:

What a wonderful year 2015 could be!!! :baby:

My best friend is ntnp and on the road to fostering (). Unfortunately she is about 20 hours away by car. But I would think of her child(ren) as our kid's cousin. My brother has autism so he won't be having any kids. I have an ex-step sister who I think of as a sister. She's only 21 and single, so I sure hope our kid won't have a cousin from her any time soon (and I know she hopes the same). My brother in law is getting married next year, so they *may* be having a child soon after that. You know, I hadn't thought about this recently. Kind of sad, we don't really have any family or friends that will be parents with us. Hmm...:nope:

I'm not sure if my future children will have cousins because I'm not sure if my brother and his girlfriend want children. They have two dogs together and last year she told me she doesn't want children. I'm not sure if she's changed her mind since then.

My kids are the only grandchildren on their dad's side right now and their only cousin on my side was just born yesterday - so a 6 1/2 and 5 year age gap between them and their cousin.

When my OH and I have kids, they will already have cousins on their dad's side, but their cousins are all older than them. I think the youngest is almost 2 right now. It's kind of complicated.

On my side there will be my brother's son, who will hopefully only be around a year old when I have another. I don't know if my brother and his fiance plan on having any more kids, though.

So there will be one cousin close in age to my future baby. And my brother and I are pretty close so I feel like the cousins will get lots of time together :)

His sister is due end of Jan with her first, my older brothers fiance has 4 kids (5b, 7b, 10b, 14g) and my younger brother... No kids, that's a GOOD thing. I am hoping we conceive mid April. So birth mid Jan 2016!

this is something DH and I have talked about... our future kids will probably not have any cousins at all :( Which makes me sad. I have an older brother and he and his fiance are dead against having kids. they might change their minds, who knows... but they certainly are not planing to!

Depending on when we conceive, there will be a two year age gap & a five year age gap. Not sure if there will be any more cousins happening soon. My brother will make an amazing dad one day just not right now.

I don't know when we are TTC so it's difficult for me to say. At the moment we have a three year old and one year old nephew so if it's in the next two years or so yes. Also, my sister is hoping to start TTC too which would give our children another cousin. I never had cousins growing up (I know two who live in England and are seven and nine years younger than me) but I did have five sisters so there was never a dull moment! :haha:

I think they probably won't. Don't think OHs brother is going to have kids anytime soon.
My sister and her bf might, but they just spent a couple months on break so i don't think they'll start having children too soon. Kinda sad now that i think of it, but my cousins are all at least 6 years from me, and i still have a great relationship with them, so i'm not too worried about that :)

My step sister is about 8 weeks ahead of me, so yes very close in age.

My best friends all have kids close in age to grow up together but cousins will all be older. There is a 5 year gap between DS and closest age cousin. Then 8,9,10,13 and 14 years from there. I have one brother who might have some one day but that is years away. Our other siblings are all done.

My Daughter & her Cousin is 15days apart and they look like twins lol.
My son has 2 cousins around same age one is 9months older and other is 10 weeks younger.

Aw how exciting :). My children don't have any cousins and it is unlikely they will for a while. I wish they did though!

If we have a baby next year then there will be a 1.5 year gap or so between my baby and my nephew who is 9 months old.

The gap after that would be almost 3 years, 3.5 years and 6.5 years.

Earlier this year I thought I was pregnant (not planned) and would've been due in November. Shortly after finding out I wasn't, I found out that DH's brother was expecting his 2nd child in September and DH's sister was expecting her 1st child in October. It would've been so cool to have them all together like that but it didn't work out. DH's brother also has a 2 year old. They all live far away but we've contemplated moving closer, especially as it may be quite some time before either of my brothers has kids. I would love my kids to be close with their cousins however I have cousins 15 years older than me who I was close with as well as cousins about 8 years younger who I get along with well.

My eldest has cousins 1 year older and 1 year younger. My youngest has cousins 2 years older and 2 years younger. If we are able to have another then they would have a cousin about 2-3 years older depending on when conceived. Not sure if they will get anymore cousins, my sister would love to have a child but is not in a position to do so and everyone else appears to be finished having children (although they probably think we are too!)

My DS is 4 and my niece (his cousin) is 12 weeks older than him. They live 200 miles away so we don't see them often but when they're together it is lovely. He is autistic so things can be difficult but he loves her and keeps saying "where's my girl gone". We are ttc atm but for baby #2 but I don't think they are having any more.

My sister (who I am massively close to) is having her first next month. We won't be trying until the beginning of 2016 so chances are there will be 2 years between them x

Two of my cousins on my dad's side (they're sisters) have a daughter each and are only seven months apart. They seems to be pretty close.
