William nn Billy or George?

Hi all.
OHs middle name is George so that's a very high contender for us however my great grandma has mentioned a few times that she would love for us to use William, her grandads name which we both love also.
I would want billy as a nickname for William as I dislike will.

George or William, which do u prefer and why?

Personally I prefer William as it sounds 'stronger' to me. I chose my boys names after strong historical figures as it's what appealed to me
