Where is good to go for a bit of winter sun? Somewhere not too expensive preferably.

My Grandparents go every year over Xmas. It's quite mild.

Lanzarote is always a good bet

Lanzerote seems popular then! I've been there before but the resort I stayed in was not so nice, guess there must be better resorts though.

We stayed in Los Ficus apartments in costa Teguise. It was a nice quiet resort but with lots to do
