So the hospital I have chosen to give birth at are hoping to get some wireless fetal monitors in. Essentially CTG's with the heart monitor, contraction monitor strapped to you, but no wires to the machiene. No guarentee they will be there in time for my delivery date though. https://www.healthcare.philips.com/gb_en/products/patient_monitoring/products/avalon/index.wpd

Does anyone have any experience with them? Or thoughts on them?

At first thought it could be a brilliant thing for a VBAC hospital labour as it allows mobility. But I'm wondering how well they stay strapped on. And if there would in reailty be a lot of midwife faffing about trying to stick them back in the right place if they fell off for being more mobile.

I worry that it would still case the added worries of CFM...all the OMG what was that beep/click/blip?!?!?!

Also the same will you please keep still so we can get a good trace!

Good in principle adn it can only encourage women to move around (I would hope) but it;s still CFM!
