Wisdom tooth woes!!!

Hi everyone,

So, I'm 27 weeks and just had an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I'm in agony pretty much 24/7 with the after pain. Paracetemol don't really go anywhere near the pain and it's causing more than normal interrupted sleep. Has anybody had a wisdom tooth out during pregnancy and how did you find the recovery with not having many pain relief options? A week on and I'm just exhausted. Any tips would be greatfully received!!

Ugh I had this problem early in this pregnancy, I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and two root canals because they were infected..I was screaming in pain, I completely understand. I was told that the pain control was just as important for the baby and I was given vicodin and percocet. They said the biggest fear of using those medications was using it until birth and the baby having withdrawals, but otherwise said it's pretty much safe... also you can try vanilla extract for numbing the area
