Well its my appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic tomorrow (AGAIN)!

I was due to go in for a laparoscopy this month to check my tubes as to why i wasn't falling pg. (9m/c, 1 stillborn in Jan 06 and nothing since then). I found out i was pg the week before the op so it was cancelled. I then m/c again.

We will be going to find out what happens next. I'm ovulating ok so i dont know where we'll go from here.

If they tell me "just keep trying and come back in 6 months if nothings happened" i can honestly say i will hit someone!

:dohh: Ok I hope all goes well tomorrow!

Thanks to you both. I used to look forward to going to the clinic cos it felt we were getting somewhere, now its just like nothings happening.

I haven't had to do anything like that so I don't really know what it's like, but I will keep you in my thoughts tomorrow, hopefully they will be helpful this time and not tell you to just come back in six months if nothing happens, I can't imagine how incredibly frustrating that would be :hugs:

Thanks, sorry for the moan but i've been going there for 5 years and i'n no further on than i was when i started. I really think its time for some straight talking, they're not gonna fob me off anymore.

:hugs: Hope it goes well for you :hugs:

Thank you. I'll try and get on some time tomorrow and let you know what happened.

I agree you seriously have to stamp your feet and get cross or you don't get anywhere which is silly really all you want is for someone to give you some answers, I have had 4 M/C now latest one was last wed and it was only when I sytarted getting angry did they say that we could have an appointment with the miscarriage specialist, which is at the end of Nov!! so good luck to you hun and I hope you get some answers.xx hugs

Good luck Ellie's Mum, I really hope things go well for you tomorrow and the doctors give you some answers and advice. Hopefully you will then be able to have a healthy and happy pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck, you deserve it :hugs:.

We went to see consultant and he has decided to do a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on 10th December. He said the fact that i had a +hpt last month shows that we are both fertile but he wants to see if the septum that i had removed in 2006 has grown back. For those of you who dont know what that means, its an extra part of tissue/skin in the uterus that the egg may plant on but will not survive. I had this removed in 2004 and again last year cos it grew back. Its called a sub-septate uterus. The only thing i dont like is during surgery they have to put in two coils to keep the uterus open for two months and i also have to take hrt for two months, which means time not able to ttc. In a way i want everything to be fine but in a way i dont cos it means back to square one again!

Good Luck - stand your ground if they tell you to come back in 6 months put your foot down that's just ourageous surely they can do more after all you have been through :hugs:
