I was on a lo estrogen birth control pill for 1 cycle and 11 active pills of the second cycle. I stopped on the 11th pill because it was making another health condition I have worse. The day after I took my 11th pill I had ups. A few days later I started bleeding and have been since. Somewhat heavy bleeding on and off since yesterday.
Today I called the OB and asked for a different pill. In total, I missed 6 active pills. The OB told me she would call me in a new pill and to start taking it immediately. I explained the above scenario to her and she said I could still be pg. I asked how bc I am bleeding like a period. She said this is likely withdrawal bleeding from the pill and I won't know if I am pg for 2 weeks.
Does this make sense???
