Wondering about username change and what it affects?

I have been considering asking for a username change as a few people in real life I know have started using the site and I would just feel better knowing they cant look me up by username which is my real last name...I was wondering how a username change affects the threads you have started and stuff.does everything from the past change over too..like it will replace MrsJerome on my old posts/threads with whatever I choose as my new name..or does it only apply to posts/threads started after the name change?

For a name change you need too contact admin (using the 'contact us' button) and explain why you want a name change.

If the name change is granted it will change you name all over the forum on every thread & post you have made in the past
