Wondfro to test for HCG?

So.. I got a 50 pack of Wondfro hpt since they were so cheap. I'm using them to just see if the HCG is lowering any.

I'm disappointed cause 11 days after my D&C nothing has gotten lighter. Today I thought it was super light, but then as it dried it was exactly the same color as last week.

Anyone have an insight on how these work? Is my HCG lowering but it doesn't detect it? Do you know what the sensitivity is to get the dark control line?

I'm getting my blood drawn next week, so I'll get more insight.. but any experience would be great to hear!

I used wondfo to watch my hcg drop too. I started miscarrying with an HCG level of 1,900 and two dark bold lines. My last HCG blood draw that the doctors took was at 400, and the wondfo still showed both lines at the same color. I didn't have any more blood tests after that (not sure why they didn't watch it down to 0), but eventually they did start lightening and about 2 weeks after my number was at 400, there was no more line. I never got blood tested to confirm my numbers went to 0, but 3 days after my test turned negative an ovulation test went positive, and 2 weeks later I have a positive HPT again and am now 4 weeks along. Yesterday my beta was 98, and the test line was way lighter than the control line, so for me the wondfo goes from light to dark somewhere between 95-400. Hang in there, the line will eventually lighten up. It can just take awhile at first when the numbers are higher.

Thank you for replying. I read that same thing somewhere, but it's discouraging to see. My numbers were at 76,000 before I found out I was miscarrying, then it was 58,000 the two days before the D&C. So I guess I have a while to go.

Thank you so much zaycain! I'm super excited but also super nervous. I've taken way too many home pregnancy tests and I'm trying to stop. I have my second beta tomorrow, so as long as my numbers are doubling appropriately I'm going to try my best to relax.

How are you feeling? You are right, it might take a bit longer with numbers that are higher. I know for me my numbers dropped very fast in the first few days and then they dropped at a much much slower rate. Hang in there and hopefully you'll get that negative soon. Isn't it weird begging the line to NOT be there? I remember how strange it felt. I'll be thinking of you in your journey

On my first pregnancy, it turned out to be a blighted ovum. Around 10 wks my hcg was over 126,000. At 11 or 12 wks (numbers were still in the 100,000's ) I had a D&C and they followed my numbers back down it took a month to go to 12.3. Here is one that I had an induced mc (4th pregnancy)cause of no hb

I did have a heathy son on my 6th pregnancy but I am now in limbo again. I got a positive on 9dpo and 10 got hcg and it was 19.26 today is 14 dpo and got another blood test today and waiting on results but I had some bleeding last night and my only viable pregnancy I had was my son and I had no bleeding in 1st tri. Howver test w/ smu this morning was darker than last nights test but I did another at 11 am and it was iffy darker then fmu but could not tell if darker then 2nd. I guess I won't know till tonight cause night time is best for me for some reason. But I did not start getting decent lines on the wondfo's till yesterday.
