I used to do this with my neices and nephews and the closer he got the more mental they would go and because we were the 1st time zone in the US they would force my sister to go home once he crossed the atlantic. They would shout HES IN THE US QUICK QUICK WE GOTTA GET HOME!!! It was so fun I cant wait to do that with my baby once he is old enough to understand
