As we were homeless last year and living in a B&B we only had a 2ft tree, but this year are moving into our lovely big bungalow before Christmas so I have gone out and got our FIRST Christmas tree! :happydance:

I was clever and took advantage of woolies going bust (RIP ) - Got a nice green, 6 ft-er for £10! :happydance:

Will be putting it up after we move in next week :D Can't wait! :D

Everything is stupidly cheap in our woolies here - I managed to pick up some christmas stockings too and a "My 1st Christmas" stocking for just 10p each! (down from £6.99)

It's sad... but heck, as they're going under... the least I can do is take advantage of the bargains while they're trying to flog all their left over stock and take that off their hands for them! ;)

Bargain !1 I just brougt a six foot for £25 !!! Should of thought about woolies first lol x

Wooooooooo!!! Is it real?? I really want to get an xmas tree NOW and put it up so I can put my prezzies under it, but our local sale ain't til mid December and my mum won't let me... It'd keep, our house is freezing, especially as we're not allowed the fire on at the moment (due to the lack of chimney) and I'd hoover up any dropped needles!! EEEEEHH!! I'm SO excited!!! :happydance:

xx

P.S Now you've made me wanna go to Woolies...but our car is broken (again!!!!!!!!!!!) so I can't :(

WHAT your woolies is so cheap!! Ours is nothing like that , mostly full price for everything still :sulk:!

But :wohoo: for your tree! Will expect piccies!!

Ahh no it's not real. I do love real Christmas trees but the needles get everywhere and I can just see this now - Anna would get them in her mouth no matter how hard I tried to keep her away / the floor clean. I bet keeping her away from the plastic tree and the presents will be a challenge enough!

... and I don't fancy the feeling of bad-motherness when I find pine needles in Anna's nappy! lmao

But :wohoo: for your tree! Will expect piccies!!

I'll take some piccies when we get it up ... can't put it up until we move, though (I don't fancy moving a fully assembled and completely decorated 6 ft tree, either!) But now I REALLY want to put it up! We have been shopping all year for all our family's presents and we wrapped them up yesterday.... I want to put them under the tree!!! lol

nightkd has got me all excited and anxious to get it up! I might have to move the living room first just so that I can put the decorations and the tree up before moving the rest of the house over!

We'll be waiting to see the piccies of the finished product Tasha!
Our Woolies is full price too, forum meet at Clacton Woolies then? :D
