I've been really stressed at work today as my hours have been extended and my workload increased. I'm not very far along but I already get tired easily and get sore if I'm on my feet more than 5 minutes. By the end of the work day my lower abdomen was so achey and I almost felt heavy there which scared me because it reminded me of my miscarriage. And then I found what looked like brown spots on my panty-liner.

The thing is, I don't think the brown spots are blood. They were more yellowy with a brownish hue and the brown was dull and not like dried blood (it didn't look like my ovulation spotting or the IB I got with my first pregnancy, for instance). And after being home for only 20 minutes all the achiness and heaviness were gone. I feel pretty good physically right now but the sadness is still there.

I have an early scan next week and I have been using it as something to look forward to but with work stress building it's hard to stay positive.

This is more of a rant than a question I suppose. I feel that the yellow-brown spotting is probably dried clear stuff as it's clear every time I wipe. I just want to enjoy this pregnancy. And I mostly was until today. :nope:

I get a similar discomfort in my abdomen when I do too much. It's the ligaments. Just take things slower and rest more if you need to xxx

Thanks. Decided to just breathe and relax today and it certainly helped especially after I reached my proverbial "wall" this afternoon. There was some pains but not bad.

If you're feeling stressed and getting all these symtoms then maybe take a few days off - it's doing you no good - it shouldn't count against you as pregnancy related illness.

:hugs: hope the scan brings fab news :)
