working and child tax credits?!?!

why have i got alot less tax credits this month? is it because they go down when your baby is one or is it something to do with it being the end of a tax year??? im really confused? and im talking like over £300 less!

Is your baby one year old? I think that might have something to do with it. I'm not very brushed up on the whole tax credits thing but I think they may go down when your child turns one... that seems alot to go down by mind you!

ctc go down as baby gets older, i don't get that as babys cost more the older they are? lol.

also it s a new tax year, if you owe them anything that was over paid last year then they take it off you. and they work your money out - if you don't get in touch on an average they think your wage will go up, could that be what has happened?
