I just wanted to know who does ? and what they do

I am awre of the avon etc - but due to my disability i stuggle with things like that

any ideas of things that really work ??

Oh and my back ground is admin !!

Do you have any interests you could start a business with?

ummm i am very computer literate !! and can use all applications etc, i used to work as a PA.

tbh avon is poo for a reliable income anyway & its not exactly working from home you end up walking around streets trying to drum up business come rain or shine, You sorta gotta rely on repeat business alot & you end up blagging friends & family to " just buy something " . Where i am they used to do proper working from home like stuffing envelopes, or folding hankies into boxs etc , Where you got paid so much for so many you did.
Much easier imo but i can't find anywhere that still does it now :(

If you drive you could try for a job being a courier for catalogues at least you're in the car & can take baby/kids with you. I think you get paid per parcel delivered but don't quote me just going off a friend who used to deliver them.

thats for your reply - the packing would be great but i also cant find any !!

saying that the delivery is no good as i can't walk very well lol

The packing ones the company brings them to you & picks them up which is good but it's finding out who does it now if they still do :(
Its the courier ones & avon which would be no good if you struggle with walking. I'm not sure what else , unless you are good with making certain things, Any good with a sewing machine? You could buy off cuts of fabric & make rodent hammocks ends up pretty cheap to make but they sell pretty well :)
Or maybe try finding some bargains in clothes shops & i mean ridiculous bargains then sell them on ebay at a higher price but still a bargain :)
Erm .. dunno just tryna think of stuff haha

It will be very hard to find packaging jobs that arent scams now, dont sign upto anything that makes you pay a fee to join.

Well I got a job working from home by setting up my own online store. I basically got it setup and running during my 9 months and it started to make money around that time. I've been doing it for over a year now and I'm looking at making a good income.

What did I do? I found a local supplier who wanted to drop ship their products. So they gave me a pricelist, and I set out to start my online shop. They just happened to have a few baby products and I mainly push them.

ok i think i may have made a decision - i am gonna set an at home admin business !! whoop whooop !!

So that i can do a few hours for samller business - so that they do not have to worry about employing someone !!

Hey Steph :)

I totally know where you're coming from, I was the same for years.
My mum uses Virtual PAs online... you can make a good amount there, but of course theres how that may upset benefits etc.

There are also some sites called things like 'hire by the hour' or 'pay by the hour' for freelancers to pick up work.

The only other idea, depending on your skill set is try applying to the disability magazines. Many of them are very helpful in understanding the limitations, theres things like selling advertising space etc.

Hope that helps :)
