How do they calculate Working Tax credit for the time I am on maternity leave?
I currently receive Working Tax credits as the only wage earner. How will they assess me for the amount I will receive whilst on mat pay.
Maternity wise....I will receive the 6 wks 9/10th, followed by SMP plus 6 weeks pay divided by either 12,20 or 33weeks.
Some of my mat leave will be in the tax yr 09/10 and some in 10/11.
Will they assess me for the first 6 weeks and then again when i change to SMP-plus-money and again when I got to just SMP? or will they assess me based on what I will earn over the whole tax year and pay a static amount?
