I've just noticed when I got up for a pee that my bump doesn't seem as hard as it usually does. Normally it feels so bloated & hard, but today it feels a bit squishy. Its probably nothing but last night when I went pee before bed it seemed like a really big pee & lots gushed out (tmi - think my labia was just kinda stuck together which made it seem like more of a gush than a stream). Anyways, now I'm totally paranoid that my water broke & I didn't know it and that's why my tummy is a bit softer. I haven't felt baby move much this morning, just fair movements (I'm still in bed, but have been up a few times to pee & given my tummy a few smacks which usually works to get him moving). I have felt a couple very faint movements though.

Am I totally being paranoid? Could my water really have all leaked out at 27weeks? Is my bump a little softer cuz it's first thing in the morning?

Mine has hard and soft days depending ono how she os laying. If you are still worried later get it checked out. Waters generally keep trickling if they go so put a pad on and watch how much it soaks it up. xxx

Each morning my bump is softer, and smaller than it is at night. By night time im huge and can hardly move. During the night any water retention we might have goes, so it could just be that. Dont think its anything to worry yourself over xxx

mine was very hard once i got it in 2nd tri but in this tri it definately seems to have gone soft! its harder deeper in if i poke hard but on the outside its just like my original flab is back - in double proportions!!! :(

its good advice about putting a pad on. i would maybe do that to check on your waters x

Depending on what body part LO is sticking up and toward the front, my bump is sometimes squishy and sometimes really hard. A gentle prod sometimes makes the baby change position, which might change how your bump feels.

But it's always best to get it checked with the doctor.
