Would an opk be negative during ovulation?

Hi Ladies, I'm a little confused by my opk. Would an opk be negative during ovulation?

I had a positive opk on Monday, a negative on Tuesday, negative yesterday and negative today. I feel like I have ovulation pains today though.

Is it possible that I'm ovulating today although my opk as been negative for 3 days?
