Me and DH have decided on a first and middle name for a girl, we just don't know which order sounds best.

Brianna Alita
Alita Brianna

And for a boy what do you guys think about the names Dyson and Gavin? Hubby came up with Dyson, I like it but I'm afraid it reminds me of the Dyson vaccuum cleaner, lol.

I think it depends on your last name tbh..

I love Brianna more as a first name :]

But Alita Brianna seems to have a better flow when you say the name together!

As for the boys, I'm all for Gavin ;D

Dyson DOES remind me of the vacuum...


but what about Dixon?

Hi, I also prefer Brianna as a first name, never heard of Alita but its lovely. I do think Alita Brianna flows better though lol. Sorry but I instantly thought of the hoover when I saw Dyson and I'm not to keen on Gavin if I'm being honest. xxxxx

My vote is for Brianna Alita -- love Bree or Bria as nicknames...

I don't think the "flow" or sound of the name should matter as much as just choosing which name you prefer as the baby's actual name. Once you name her, she will mostly just be known by her 1st name.... so pick the one you prefer!

I love the name Gavin........ my son was "named" this right up until the day he was born!

The reason? Brianna Alita can be awkward to say because the first name ends with the same letter as the beginning of the middle name.

I think Brianna Alita sounds nice and flows better. Dyson does make me think of the vacuum cleaner and I'm not a fan of Gavin. Dixon's was an electrical retailers here in the UK but I actually really like it.
