Would SMA staydown help a colicy baby?

I'm unsure if my baby has reflux or colic as has symptoms of both, is it best to change to staydown rather than comfort? Comfort won't help with reflux will it ? But will staydown lessen the colic symptoms? I need to try something as am going stir crazy!!!

the comfort didnt help my lo at all with reflux but i have found the staydown is great for reflux and helped with colic too. he was on aptamil 1st before mixed with carobel and he had awful painful wind x

Thanks so much for your reply I've just gone and bought the staydown, my LO screams during and after feeds and has at least 1 projectile vomit a day and lots of possetts, the last 3 nights he has been up all evening screaming so I just don't know which it is so I'm praying the staydown helps!!

i hope it works for your lo like it did mine . weve had a tough road with reflux too. he screamed all day everyday, struggled feeding and very slow weight gain. we have tried many different things. my lo as had colief, gaviscon, carobel and ranitidine and several different milks and i can honestly say the staydown as been the best plus he is no longer on the meds

i would advise to offer a little cool boiled water daily for first few days as it can constipate them a little at first but my lo was fine after about 4 days, nothing like when he was on the gaviscon that was awful.

i had to use a teat size up also as it is a bit thicker especially if you slighlty warm it. my lo as dr browns size 3 teats which are perfect for him.

comfort does help with some mild cases of reflux; it did with my son and I know some doctors do prescribe it for this reason. xx

My LO has reflux and colic, we changed to C&G Confort and still thicken it slightly with carobel, works well for him x

Have you tried you lo on staydown now - did it work for you?
