would u make a complaint about doc that said this?

id want to complain and i think you should but in real life i probably wouldnt get round to it and my rage would subside xx

i would complain to me he should have asked if everything was ok as there could have been another reason why you cried very insensitive

That would have annoyed me but not enough to complain about it x

BTW, I'm saying this having lost my mum to cancer. It may well have been a stupid and insensitive one off comment, if it's not it'll start to filter through :hugs:

They used to teach doctors and nurses about empathy in school, maybe now they don't :hugs:

I would personally say to just look past it. Yes, it was out of line...but I don't think it was meant to intentionally upset you. It seems he was maybe taken back by your reaction. But I agree that complaining won't likely make a difference.

I'd of poked the'Dr' in the eye never mind complained!
Hope you feel better soon
x

No, we all have bad days, even doctors. If he fondled your breasts than that would be different (unless checking for lumps or other woman things)

Hes only human so maybe he was just having a bad day.

I wouldnt complain

What a ridiculous thing to say :dohh: i would definately complain x

I wouldn't complain. They may have been trying to be kind and it came out wrong. There are more important things to spend your time on.

What he said was pretty insensitive, but I wouldn't complain. I probably would of said something sarcy back to him if it was me though!
Gps have a pretty grueling job and I guess sometimes it will get ontop of them. Theyre only humans at the end of the day. We all say things we shouldn't sometimes.

What he said was rude, unprofessional, insensitive and down right careless. And yes, I would have complained. How knows nothing about your situation and to say that was completely inappropriate! For example, he'd of got a right shock if he'd of said that to my OH, my OH would have jamp over the desk and given him a black eye and several broken bones as his best mate has just been told he has very little time left and what is left he'll be in a wheel chair for!

But I know I'm letting my situation cloud my judgement here.
