Hi my gp thinks its 50 50 if im miscarrying. I'm having a scan next week to find out.

I'm anywhere from 4 1/2 to 5 weeks pregnant.

The bleeding is light to medium i think and stress the word think it may be getting lighter, one thing for sure is it's not heavier. I had a bath and it took 45 mins for some to hit the pad, after and hour i went to the toilet and there was only a small amount in the pad but a fair bit when i wiped, it seems like it's mixed with a load of ewcm? No idea what that means, it's proper red in colour but could there be less than it looks cos of the ewcm, if anyone has an experience i would uber appreciate it. The counseller at epu said that in the majority of miscariages she wouls expect the bleeding to be a lot heavier, but everyone is different.

Not sure if i am having cramping so i guess if i have it's mild and my belly feels weird, not sure how to describe it.

I have been thro all emotions today of sheer devastation thinking it's gone to not being sure. I just want to say i'm sorry u girls have experienced miscarriages i have experinced a little of what it is like today and it is pure hell. i pray u ladies go onto have healthy pregnancies and babies very soon. I know that wont take away the pain for your loses, but u truely deserve your healthy babies :hugs:

Hi hun,

I know I've already told you but when I had my m/c at 4+5 the bleeding was very heavy straight away.

I'm thinking of you and the little bean and I'm praying it holds on:hugs:

Thanks hun did u have cramping how long did it last? What do u class as heavy?

Hi Daisy, I am so sorry you are going through this at the moment. It is not easy not knowing what is going on and I am sure you would just rather know one way or the other. If I were you I would ask docs to do a hcg blood test. They will then repeat it in a couple of days and they can get a good idea if it is doubling at the rate it should.

Everyone will tell you not to stress and worry but I know that is so much easier said than done, and nothing will take the worry away. I will be thinking of you and will keep everything crossed for you.

Big

Mine started really light, but within 12 hours it got much much heavier.
Lots of ladies have light bleeding hun.

Sending you lots of sticky :dust:

I did ask they said no to the bloods.

Would u class mine as light or medium to light or medium?

you probably dont want to hear this but my bleeding never got really heavy at all about the same as a light period, and the blood seemed very glupy . it felt like i was having a period really which made it feel surreal.

i pray that your lo is there to stay and my thoughts are with you.

sorry if this upsets just trying to be honest.

I would think the doctors would be doing more for you hun. I really feel for you. I'm not in the same country so I don't know how the medical system works there but when I started bleeding I went straight to the hospital and I was given an immediate ultrasound and bloods were taken. But I was also nine weeks along where they should've been able to see a baby by than. (The baby only measured six weeks though) Your so early still that I don't know what an ultrasound would even show. I am definately thinking of you. I'm sorry this is all happening. It shouldn't happen to us women that want our babies so badly. :hugs::hugs:

I appreciate it thanks, how many weeks were u?

Hun, I really wish I could help. The one thing I have realised is that if I ever fell pregnant again, I am going to let nature takes it course. There is nothing they can do, and I found all the stress of the bloods, prodding and poking and scans so hard, and now wonder if they may have contributed to my m/c

well babe measured 7 weeks but i was actually at my 10week scan when i found out.

glupy as in sticky i guess does that make sense

Do u think the internal scan will cause me to miscarry if i haven't already?

No the internal scan wont cause you to mc hun x

No I am not saying that, but over 3 weeks I was told that I had m/c and had 5 scans, countless blood tests and several internals. Altogether I am not sure that helped and in the end did not change my outcome. I am not saying this will be the same for you, just my personal oppinion. x

its possible to bleed after an internal scan but you usually only have one of these when there is a problem anyway so the bleeding would happen regardless

If someone is gonna miscarry there is nothing anyone can do to stop it :hugs:

Mine started off like a period but got really heavy within a couple of hours (I mean so heavy that my trousers were soaked & I had to sit on a plastic sheet on the way to the hospital) I also had a lot of lower back & stomach pains

you dont know that this is the case with you tho so try to stop dwelling on things as it isn't helping you at all xx

Hey sweety, I am sorry you are having to resort to asking questions in this section.

Both my miscarriages started off with brown brown on the pad, then later on went on to be brown stretchy blood (lots of it). Over the next 24 hours, I would either cramp lightly then red bleed which got very very heavy. The cramping got more and more painful.

I miscarriaged both at roughly 8/9 weeks.

I pray that you dont have to endure a miscarriage xxx

when i had my misscarriage my bleeding was light for a few hours with no cramps then got really heavy and very painfull cramps sorry if this dosnt answer ur question but i am praying for u and hoping its not a misscarriage stupid doctors u would think they would do more for u best wishes x
