Would you think its mean?

Well we are trying to work out a first name, Middle name is already picked (family name) and OH's last name, so the last two initials are EA, ok so im looking at names, and if i use the letter P,S,Y,T for the first name her initials will be
PEA
SEA
YEA
TEA

would it be cruel to name her something starting with these letters?

honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. She doesn't have to tell anyone her middle name if she doesn't like it.

I wouldn't say it's cruel to do it if you really love the names and they don't spell anything offensive or too embarrassing.

But when I was trying to find a boys name my DH wanted the middle name Andrew and that would have meant we had JAR as his initials and I wouldn't do it.

I didn't want his intials to spell anything because I could remember the way some of the kids at school got singled out because of theirs. Some of them liked it and some of them didn't.

And a man I used to work with had the initials BIGP and said he got called everything from Big P to Big Pig and all kinds of other names.

It put me off initials that spell anything.

my son is 'jaw' , i really wouldnt worry about it unless it spelt something rude!I actually think its quite cool to have intials that spell something, it was an accident with our first but we actually tried to make a word with our second but couldnt!!!

my daughters initials are HAM lol it was accidental, we changed her surname when she was older, but no one ever makes fun of her.

My friend, her sisters & mum spell out RAP, MAP, TAP and BAP haha but no one ever made fun of her for it we just giggled about it!
