WOW Femara is expensive

I Just picked my first rx for femara only 5 pills cost me $68.00 with insurance. The pharmacist said there was a generic available but the Dr. specified brand name. I hope this stuff works and gets me my BFP.

I got the generic of femara. I don't know how much it cost though since I don't have to pay for prescriptions filled on the base. I was about to pay 90$ for the shot I was prescribed as well b/c the mail order pharmacy didn't know how to work with military insurance.
The pills may be expensive but there are a lot of fertility drugs that aren't even covered by any insurance. IVF meds alone range from 1000-3000$.

Mine was about $280. I live in the UAE and its crazily expensive here. Fingers crossed the insurance will cover it!

check out the femara website. there is a coupon that you can use multiple times to get it for 10.00. I use it currently and it works every month. You could also ask your Dr to rewrite the perscription for the generic.

I printed out the coupon last month on Femara.com and got my Femara for $10 (just like 31andtrying) ...

I'm starting Femara with my next cycle and I also used the coupon to get it for $10. My dose is 5 mg so I got 10 2.5 mg pills.
