So I'm currently towards the end of waiting for the bleeding from my most recent miscarriage to end. I want to eventually try again but seeing how this is my second miscarriage this year (third total + 1 chemical) we need to get some medical/genetic testing done before trying again.

Forgive me if this post already exists elsewhere but I didn't see any other threads for those of us who are WTT after a loss so figured I'd start one. I don't know much about infertility and all the different medications that are apparently out there to help one along. My DH and I don't have any problems GETTING pregnant....we just can't seem to STAY pregnant (mc usually happens right at 6weeks or baby never develops past that stage).

Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi, I remember you from first tri... just wanted to say hi and I'm sorry for your losses. :(

Sorry for your losses! :(
I had a miscarriage in March, I'mcurrently waiting to try in September. Feeling nervous already.

Hi, I thinkn this might be the thread for me.

I remember you from PAL forum, I had another loss myself earlier this month.

Like you we have no problems conceiving, but after 2 losses in the space of 3 months (one at 7 weeks, one at 9 weeks) my body and mind need a rest.

Also waiting for RPL testing, got the appointment for 5 weeks time today.

It's all just shit.

I just found out on 8/1 that my baby stopped developing 3 weeks ago, at 9 weeks after seeing the heart beating, so mmc for me. Waiting it out, I hope, but so far still no cramping or bleeding or anything. Talked with dh last night and he said maybe we could try again, once everything is over with. I'm not an advocate of the 3 month, or longer, wait unless there was a major reason. This is my 8th loss of 14 pregnancies. I'm not sure whta route we will wind up having to take, and at 43 I'm not even sure if I could get pregnant and carry to term again. Here's hoping you guys, at least, get your rainbow babies.

Welcome momof5, sorry for your loss :flower:

Checking in with all you ladies, how's everyone doing in limboland?

AFM,AF arrived this morning like clockwork, exactly 28 days after I started bleeding with MC. Amazing how the body can bounce back on track, wish the mind was this resilient

Exactly 4 weeks to my RPL testing appointment, so we're missing 1 opportunity but I really need the break anyway.

Spotting started yesterday. I get times of an actual flow and then back to spotting. Planning to talk to the doctor about ways to improve egg quality to try again. Not waiting the 3 months most doctors say to do as I'm 43, so I don't have a lot of time to play around. Good luck with your testing hun.

I had some COQ10 left in the cupboard from a couple of years back when everyone on the forum seemed to be taking it, so I started taking that again, but I'm not a huge believer in supplements tbh

The evidence for COQ10 was based on a study in mice, so whether it actually works in human females is anyone's guess :haha:

Other than that I just take a standard multivitamin which includes folic acid.

We didn't wait 3 months to try again after the first loss in April, tried after the first AF and fell pregnant again straight away, though we lost that one last month too  I don't think waiting would have made it any easier to cope with.

I've lost 8 now, counting this one, and I never waited the 3 months. The only thing they have ever found was a progesterone issue where my body starts making enough then stops. I'm very angry right now because I wasn't able to see my regular doctor and the new one refused to give me the supplements because she said that 25 was plenty high enough. I'm going to demand pathology and if it turns out there was nothing wrong with the baby, I'm getting a lawyer. At 43, you don't play games with a woman's pregnancy, especially when it's been documented that most of the losses over 40 have less to do with abnormalities in the baby and more to do with hormones.

How frustrating and heart breaking for you.

In the UK they don't believe in progesterone issues at all, even the fertility specialists, I had to buy mine online.

I took progesterone supplements in my last pregnancy, didn't actually stop the MC though, but at least I have the peace of mind of knowing that it wasn't anything preventable.
