I've lost all respect for Gary Barlow since the live shows.

I was watching the US X factor last night and the "script" was pretty much identical to the UK.

I only started watching from the first live show, so don't know what he was like before but I did see something in the paper about him taking the piss out of a special needs person who went in for the auditions. He went through the womans bag or something and it had to be cut because the audience booed and complained so much.

Yeah I saw that last night too and thought tonights script sounded pretty familiar lol.

Simon probably told him he has to be mean but it just doesn't suit him. He comes across as a complete ass, Simon was still kinda luvable. The sort of guy everyone loved to hate lol but he showed a sweet side too sometimes. Gary just seems to keep the mean thing which seems fake and stupid and then when he switches to being nice that seems fake too. He just needs to stop acting and be himself.
