It definately starts to drag, doesn't it?

You'll probably find that if this thread picks up, there'll be loads of bfps, I have that effect on threads!

We've just finished our first cycle after ovarian drilling, but no IUI/IVF til I get my BMI below 30

It's our 6th wedding anniversary on Friday so we'll be 6 years TTC then.

We have unexplained subfertility and are going through our 4th cycle of IVF. Hopefully this will be successful as I don't know if I can do it again - although I said that after the second and third cycles too!! Where we get our strength from I don't know!

:hi::hi: i will join you

me and hubby been TTC for 5 years 3 months been unsucesful due to azoospermia which we found out about in june 06. im currently going through my second fresh ICSI cycle [-o<[-o< it works

good luck and :dust:to all xx

Hi ladies, i would like to join. I definetly fit into this categroy, been married over 6 yrs and ttc over 5 1/2 yrs (not preventing mostly). I was DX with PCOS over 10 yrs ago, therefore i knew it would be hard, but didnt think it would be this long. We have tried clomid, 1 iui, metformin, & relaxing, but nothing yet. I am now 33yrs and DH 31 yrs, so we are really gearing back up now, we just started back really trying with getting healthier and weight loss, clomid, acupuncture, chinese herbs, and going to an RE specialist to discuss other options. IVF is not affordable for us right now, so hoping these other things work and soon! Lol
Good Luck to all here!
Faith, hope, and prayer is always useful!

Sometimes, I can't believe I've been at this for a decade. If we'd gotten pregnant the first month, our child would only be a couple of years of secondary school. I am so gladnow hat we started when I was only 16. In theory, I could do another 15 years before menopause...

hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining you. we have been trying for 5 years in october coming. it definatley starts to take its tole :hugs: to every one who is already on here, and to the many that will join. may we all get our bfp's very soon x

Hi,

I've been trying for over 5 years. We have been married almost 7 years and have been actively trying for about 5 years. Nothing, No pregnancies or anything. I ovulate on time every month had a HSG 2 years ago all clear but DH has sperm problems but the doc says it's not that bad to where we shouldn't get preggres on our own. I'm so confused and I'm considering a Lap but I just had a breast reduction surgery a little over 2 months ago so I'm thinking it's too early for another surgey but I really want to get the ball rolling. I'm trying to keep faith and keep trying naturally but boy it's taking a toll on my happiness right now. Sorry for the rant:thumbup:

On a positive note, I'm sure the day will come for us all :dust: to us all

I am at 4.5 years of dedicated ttc, but 10 year ntnp prior to that.

xo

Hi all, we've just hit the 5 year mark, to be honest I don't think we'll ever see a BFP as DH is not being hugely co-operative in getting checked by the Doctor. I've had my inital blood test which came back fine. But the Docs won't do any more invasive tests on me till DH gets looked at. I believe that after trying for this length of time that my DH & me just won't be able to get a BFP without some sort of help.

Fx'ed for everyone. :hugs:

Does your husband have other children?...Huby really needs to understand how important it is for him to participate.

Nope, I would argue he almost has a phobia around hospitals and Doctors. I have explained to him both qently and very bluntly why it's important. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any shifting him.

I'd say there is a fair chance he's scared that its a problem on his side, especially with your blood tests coming back fine. How about one of the home sperm count test kits?

Sparkle, sorry I feel bad like I have slightly hi-jacked your thread  - I only really said about hubby to explain what stage of the journey we're on.

He has told me he is petrified in case it's on his side and I have considered the home kits but wasn't sure how reliable they are. :flower:
