xmas films and when is it ok to put the tree etc up??

ooh I love christmas films one of the best parts of christmas!
we don't put our tree & decorations up until the end of the first week of december, but that's because my OH's birthday is in the first week. I think some houses in my town will be putting them up in the next few weeks

i put mine up the weekend following 4th december cause its my sons birthday on the 4th. when i lived with my parents tho it was a strict rule that it goes up 2 weeks before xas and comes down 2 weeks after :S x

yay im thinking of putting it up after my twins 5th birthday which is 17th november so maybe the weekend after that if i could i would put it up now lol and my dad was the same 12days b4 xmas and took it down 12 days after but i couldnt wait that long lol xx

we will put ours up the first monday of december (the 6th the calender tells me)
only because OH works the rest of the week and the tree is up top of the cupboard so he needs to get it down x

Wow, I get mega excited for xmas, but the tree wont be up before december, usually the first weekend in December, although this year it may be a little later as our little boy is into everything and im worried he will try to pull it down lol. x

im putting mine up either next weekend or weekend after so 6th of nov 13th of nov love christmas best time of year and love putting tree and decks up this year has gone so fast dosent feel that long really since last christmas dont know how anyone else feels about how fast its gone x and yes iv been watching christmas films all the mickeys christmas and santa claus the movie planned for tonights viewing x

My tree always goes up on the first Saturday in December, though my Nativity scene advent calendar will have been out since the 1st.
I always go over to my parents' in the first week of December and do their tree with my dad.

We put ours up on the 1st December and if I could get away with it I would do it earlier, I'm always the 1st to out of my neighbours to put it up. I love all things christmas and the atmosphere it brings I'm still like a big kid and the spme other good christmas films I would recommend would be Home Alone and a must is Santa Clause the movie.. absolutely love it and The Snowman. I want to watch them now... hehe
