xmas films and when is it ok to put the tree etc up??

We watched christmas films throughout the year, just watched santa clause 2. We usually put our tree up on the 1st weekend in december, but thats because we have a real tree, if we had an artificle one then it would probably we earlier.

My OH has it up at the end of November! we where the first where we lived last time. Soon as he seen a tree up down town he was home and tearing out the tree and would decorate the whole thing himself just to get it up! Will be no exceptions this year anyway since there will be two kiddies . And I love the film Elf!

mine will go up once i find space for it... it only a small 3 or 4 foot tree, might try putting the ceiling decs up too if i can reach on the step ladder

I love home alone, could watch them everyday and have been known to watch them 4 times in one day, well the kids wanted too!

We normally put our xmas tree up after the 2nd december, thats my sons birthday so like to get that out of the way first, Although when i was pregnant with him we did put it up 2wks before i was due!

do you know what thanksgiving is? It sounds like its just a day to be thankful LOL but its really american and would make no sense whatsoever for the UK tocelebrate it!

We start putting decos any weekend after the 1st Dec. We get a real tree each year and don't get one until a few weeks before xmas day because otherwise it would get a bit tatty by xmas.
