there is a long story behind this but to cut it short, DH and i have been TTC for 32 months with 3 MC's (sorry to say it so matter of factly) we have been with our gyno for bang on 2 years today, and that is to long in my opinion and he has been messing us about and dragging his heals for to long.
I had an appointment with him today and said that we have tried provera and 50mg clomid then the 100 mg clomid. 10 rounds of it to be exact, basically told him that if i wasn't referred i was going to go into meltdown because he is trying to play god with my fertility and that i am fed up of it and i want something done by someone who is proactive.
i've had bloods done but i've not had my tubes checked i've not had a lap and dye and i feel like i have been short changed! it's not through lack of asking and trying to be rational. and i do understand that he is busy, but why should he drag it out so long without doing the tests needed?

i got my referral!!!
he is writing to ninewells hospital in dundee and he is going to arrange an appointment and the like for us!
i am so ecstatic! no i'm euphoric!
i finally feel like we are going to get somewhere and find out what is going to happen and have taken a little step closer to finally becoming a mummy and a daddy!
i feel i could BURST with joy! and i have been doing little happy dances all day! the only negative thing about today is that DH is off-shore so he cant share in the joy and celebrating for another week and a half. but he is as excited as me. 2011. it is going to be our year. i feel it in my watters!
thank you for the read... i just had to tell someone. not telling anyone in RL until we are sure about what is happening. so this is my place to let my excitement out.

GREAT news though that you are taking further steps and actually have more of a game plan in place. I think that was the biggest relief for me after getting our results back~ knowing that steps x, y, and z would take place instead of the wait and see approach. I do agree that it sounds like you've been sort of taking the long road... and you need someone who is going to make it a priority to help you!!! Best of luck!!!
