yay first scan booked...but hating my dr receptionist

12 week scan booked for may 1st I cannot wait!! my dr receptionist has made it so hard for me to get any test results back or to book any appointments grrrrrrr

Thankyou I had to get my gp to book mw as she wouldn't book unless I sent wee in for confirmation which I did a week ago and she refuses to give me the results...

O she just sounds horrible I hat to go to my doctor before I see the midwife I got given all this information and told her about pervious mc and she was like well they happen all the time they are so common now I was like O thank you make me feel even better and then went are u sure u want me to refer u to the midwife now incase is happens again I was like I that's nice thanks x

Complain!! As a general rule, receptionists don't have any medical or counselling qualifications and aren't qualified to advise you. As for your results if they are not authorised to advise you on test results then they should arrange for someone to call you or for you to have an appt with someone. I hate self-important people!
