Yay! :) TTC April '09

So my husband & I finally decided last night that we would start TTC in April '09! I'm SO excited!!
I just had a question though. I am currently on the pill, have been for about 2 years. I figured I would stop taking it in January, so I can begin charting my cycles. Is that early enough to stop my taking my pill?

I am also waiting until April 09. I plan on starting to take prenatal vitamins at the beginning of Jan
