Your opinions please--am I out?

Hello all...so I tested yesterday even though I promised myself I wouldn't. Yesterday I was 12 dpo. I got a one liner bfn! almost came up immediately. I was a little disappointed but not so down because I knew it was early. But then again how likely is it that it was a false negative? Not sure if I'm out...I guess I am just hanging on to some last bit of hope.

I also had a brown tinge of something on my undies ...either af coming or implantation.

What do you think? Have you ever gotten a bfn when testing with a frer (early test) and then a BFP later?

My answer is you arent out til AF shows you may have ovulated or implanted late

Thanks for the hope! Next time I'm not testing early at all...it's just too confusing.
