Leeanne bf her first 2 and ff chase I believe!

I tried bfing for 2 weeks and switched to ff and I dont feel guilty at all... I have no idea if I will try next time... Depends on alot of things I think. Maybe if I have more suppot next time I will try again.

Yes, you are correct Ryder. I breastfed Amanda for a year and Jayden for far longer than that. LOL

And I will be very honest, I have absolutely no guilty feelings about FF Chase. My time is sparse between all the kids and businesses and there is no way that I could devote all my energy into breastfeeding him. It's worked well for all of us and I wouldn't change my choice for the world.

Yes, breastfeeding is a wonderful experience, but I've found, so is formula feeding.

Personally I'll be looking to BF this one once it comes. I'll not be able to sit on the sofa the way I did with Kaya but I do have a sling. I also have no problem with BF when out and about which will make it easier. I don't think I would feel happy having to FF this next one as I have found BF Kaya to be such a rewarding experience. But this is just the way I feel.

I'd say to you don't make any decisions either way until you have the LO in your arms. If I remember right you were going to FF before and then BF just seemed right to you at the time - the same thing may well happen again.

I will try and I do want to.. I just won't have the time nor mental stability to struggle so much next time. This time around, my want to BF was the most strong when she was born. The one thing I wanted to accomplish. But my main concern next time will be having a relationship with both my children. The decision to not BF won't be taken lightly, but if I do stop, and can't give it so much effort, I fear I may feel guilty.

I could be wrong, but I would have thought that the second time round should be less of a struggle as you've already done it once before and so have a good idea what you're doing. You should never feel guilty whatever you choose, the important thing is to do what's best for you and your children.

Well Toria, you never know, next time you may not struggle with it as much? Some babies bf so easy, and some dont. My OHs sister found that out with her 2 girls, one was perfect, one was hell. Just wanted to add, the second one was the one who was hell. The first baby was easy and latched on perfect etc.

Hopefully next time you will have a bit more support from the father then you did this time too,

Im hoping I have an easier baby next time I dont think Ill be so hard on myself if I dont manage to do it next time round either... and will prob give in to ff more quickly!! Courtney was a nightmare newborn

i think giving up so early with rhys (2 weeks) made it easier to kepp going for a bit longer with ffion (4.5months) i knew that keeping calm and not stressing out was the key and i really pushed through the point where i gave up with rhys.

i feel guilty for only feeding rhys for 2 weeks and i wish i had stuck it out longer

so i think next time i will try and match 2 weeks and see where we go from there

i will try again at breastfeeding the next one...purely cos i did enjoy the few times maley was on the boob but i never got help to get her back on when she didnt want it....

I couldnt bf nicole and was absolutley gutted, i really wanted too, mind you the midwifes in hospital were shit and didnt give me any help at all. I bf callum for 5wks and loved it but gave up cos he would only feed from one side and im definately going to try bf'ing this one.
